How to use it
Start with the editable source below. The generator makes real student activities and separate checking pages. Read the instructions, adapt the list to your group and download a fresh PDF.
Review the statements for your group. Give each learner a card. They talk to classmates and mark a statement after a conversation. Use ticks instead of names. Learners may pass on any statement and can work with a partner.
Close by sharing an interest that more than one person enjoys.

Adapt the activity
For an easier task, use fewer familiar items, a smaller grid and a visible word list. For more challenge, use definitions, add diagonal directions or ask learners to explain each answer. Test one sheet before making copies.
Answer key
Learners may pass on any prompt. Ask about shared interests, never personal circumstances.
PDF downloads directly. You can also print from the browser. Choose A4 or Letter and print at actual size. The PDF contains image-based pages so accents are preserved.
