Activity workshop

Multiplication practice

Multiplication practice. Create arithmetic bingo with addition, subtraction, multiplication or exact division. Print questions or answers on the cards.

Make it yours

Changes the examples and printed instructions, independently of the website language. Your own text stays as entered.

Check the preview before printing a class set. Age ranges are suggestions, not curriculum claims.

How to use it

Start with the editable source below. The generator makes real student activities and separate checking pages. Read the instructions, adapt the list to your group and download a fresh PDF.

Choose an operation and the range for the two operands. Division uses an exact integer quotient; zero is never a divisor. Decide whether the cards show questions or answers. Read the opposite from the caller sheet. After a claim, ask learners to explain one calculation before checking the card.

Editable example

7 × 1 = 7
7 × 2 = 14
7 × 3 = 21
7 × 4 = 28
7 × 5 = 35
7 × 6 = 42
7 × 7 = 49
7 × 8 = 56
7 × 9 = 63
7 × 10 = 70
7 × 11 = 77
7 × 12 = 84

Adapt the activity

For an easier task, use fewer familiar items, a smaller grid and a visible word list. For more challenge, use definitions, add diagonal directions or ask learners to explain each answer. Test one sheet before making copies.
